How to Partner with UDL

Partnership Requirements

  • Alignment with our Mission
Your community or organization must be focused on development, technology, or creative collaboration in the game/dev space.
  • Minimum Community Size
At least 300 members members, with consistent weekly engagement and activity.
  • Responsive Staff Team
A dedicated staff or leadership group that will respond within 48 hours to partnership inquiries and coordination.
  • Content Compliance
All shared content must adhere to Discord’s Terms of Service and exclude NSFW, hate speech, exploit-related material, or any other content that conflicts with UDL’s values.

What UDLex Provides

  • UDLex Website Listing
    • A dedicated partner page on udlex.com/partners, featuring your logo, a brief description, and a link to your server or community hub.
  • Partner Partner Announcements, Events, and Promotion
    • Monthly partner highlights via UDLex announcements and social channels.
    • Opportunity to co-host developer jams, or “resource drops.”
  • Integrated Marketplace Features (UPCOMING)
    • If you host a marketplace (or plan to), we can integrate our /post-based listing system directly into your server or web platform, enabling cross-server search, tagging, and shared promotions.
  • Shared Infrastructure (UPCOMING)
    • Access to select bots, tools, and APIs maintained by the UDL team.
    • Inclusion in UDL’s shared documentation portal (coming soon), which features tutorials, templates, and best practices.
  • Cross-Server Collaboration Channels (UPCOMING)
    • Optional access to private collaboration channels where partner staff can coordinate joint events, share announcements, and troubleshoot integrations.

Partner Obligations

  • Public Acknowledgment
Display an "Official Partner" on any UDL Network-related server/platform.
  • Event and Initiative Promotion
When UDLex organizes major events—such as virtual developer fairs, workshops, or marketplace launches—you agree to share those announcements with your community and encourage participation.
  • Open Communication
Maintain active, ongoing dialogue with UDL staff. Promptly respond to scheduling requests for co-hosted events, feature rollouts, or technical coordination.
  • Collaborative Projects
Participate in at least one co-created project per quarter (e.g., a shared coding challenge, joint giveaway, or resource collection) to reinforce partnership engagement.

Ineligible Partnerships

Any server or organization that meets one or more of the following conditions will not qualify for a UDLex partnership:

  • Ad-Only Communities
Servers focused exclusively on advertisement, giveaway farming, or bot-pings without substantive development or collaboration.
  • Inactive or Low-Quality Engagement
Communities with minimal active participation, no evidence of regular events, or engagement metrics that fall below our 300-member threshold.
  • Non-Reciprocal Arrangements
Partners that do not follow through on promotion or fail to maintain open lines of communication (e.g., unresponsive leadership, inability to join co-hosting activities).
  • Content Violations
Servers that broadcast NSFW content, hate speech, exploit-related tools, or anything that violates Discord’s Terms of Service or UDL’s community standards.
